The classic light is a medium slow action rod with the nostalgic feel of the early graphite rods that were popular in the 1970’s. The un-sanded finish, often seen in the old days is tough and can withstand heavy use. We use modern graphite material which is more lightweight and stronger than the materials used in those days, allowing you to cast all day. This is a great beginner rod but even veterans can fully appreciate it.
We wanted to provide a rod with solid action at a reasonable price.
There is no hook keeper for this model (can be added upon request).
